Director, The Comedy of Errors

This is Kurt’s 16th season at the Festival as an actor and director. He directed last season’s The Taming of the Shrew, as well as the productions: As You Like It, Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Comedy of Errors in 2002. Some roles at HVSF: Tartuffe, Aguecheek, Sir Anthony, Benedick, Petruchio, Macbeth, Leontes, and the Duke in Measure for Measure. In the past year, he performed in two plays at the Dallas Theater Center: the title role in Henry IV, Parts 1 & 2, and as Lewis in Horton Foote’s Dividing the Estate. In August, Kurt will perform at the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC, as Mark Antony in Julius Caesar. He and Nance Williamson live in Garrison and still raise chickens.
