Summer Shakespeare Institute

This three-day professional development institute for teachers of grades 4 through 12 increases confidence and offers hands-on techniques that help teachers explore Shakespeare's language, themes, characters and stories in the classroom.

Focusing on pedagogy, scholarship and theatrical training, we take the fear out of Shakespeare and help teachers engage their students with imaginative and practical teaching methods that are fun and accessible.

In three days of immersion, teachers will take workshops ranging from text analysis to lesson planning to classical acting techniques. Lunch, dinner and tickets to our shows are included. We offer 36 hours of in service credit.
