Summer Theater Tips

When planning your visit to the Festival, please keep summer comfort and safety in mind.

Our theater tent is located in an open field at Boscobel, and this can raise some typical summer season precautions:

• The House Management table has bug repellent spray available for patrons’ use, but if you
  have any special needs for insect bite prevention or treatment, please prepare
  accordingly.
• Keep in mind that you’ll be exposed to the sun while on the grounds of Boscobel,
  so prepare with sun protection products or with a sun hat, if that is a concern.
• The concession tent sells water on site before the show and during intermission,
  but you may wish to prepare for those excessive heat days by hydrating before
  the show. 
• Be aware that high heels may not be the best choice in footwear, as you will be
  walking and standing on grass, and traveling across some uneven terrain. If the
  weather has been damp, the tent area can get a bit muddy. You may want to wear
  more practical footwear.
