HVSF’s Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to develop skills in design, writing, content creation, research, and reporting. From photographing events on-site at the theater tent to drafting interview questions for cast members, using industry-appropriate software for content creation to brainstorming special promotions, the Marketing Intern will receive hands-on training in all aspects of theater marketing and will play a crucial role in supporting the promotion of one of the Hudson Valley’s most impactful and renowned arts nonprofits. The Marketing Intern will primarily work out of HVSF’s administrative offices at 143 Main Street, Cold Spring, but will make trips to the theater tent at Boscobel as needed. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with design sensibilities, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign, particularly), strong writing skills, an interest in the arts, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
